Dancing On Ice star Amber Davies has issued an apology to her fans after an accident during the intervals for Pretty Woman: The Musical UK. The West End star is back on the stage as Vivian in the popular tour following the end of the ITV skating show, where she just missed out on a place in the final with professional partner Simon Senecal.
Amber has only just returned to the UK tour but was forced to pull out of the afternoon show in Milton Keynes on Wednesday, March 20, following the first act and has confirmed she won’t be performing in tonight’s show. The 27-year-old appeared on her Instagram Story to explain what had happened and to issue an apology to her 1.3 million followers.
Covering her injury by placing a hand over her forehead, Amber told the camera: “Warning if you don’t like blood. Go to the next slide. Right, guys, this is for anyone who came to watch Pretty Woman in Milton Keynes this afternoon.

“I’m so so sorry I had to go off mid-show because I had a little accident in the interval. You couldn’t write it. I literally just walked into a door. I opened the door with my head down and I was going quite fast and it just hit me write in the head so I had to come off mid-show and I’m not doing tonight either because it’s still bleeding a little bit.”
Reassuring fans, she added: “Hopefully by tomorrow night I’ll be back on with a plaster over it and I can just hide it with some foundation. You couldn’t write it, could you? I go on Dancing On Ice for two and half months, I do the headbanger, I do all the lifts, I’m on two blades on the ice and it’s a door that takes me out.”
Amber finished off by adding: “Apologies again if you were in this afternoon, I loved the first act.” Amber has become a huge stage star since rising to fame on Love Island in 2017 and has starred in everything from 9 to 5, to Bring It On, and Back to the Future.
The Welsh star, who hails from Denbigh, announced she had bagged the role as Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman: The Musical UK, in July last year, but took a break for 2 months in January to focus on Dancing On Ice.
