Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is expected in Denmark on Monday where he will represent President William Ruto in a high-level dialogue meeting.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary, the country’s top diplomat will be a key guest at the Danish- Africa High Level Dialogue Summit which seeks to strengthen the partnership between the European nation and African countries.
During the Summit, Mudavadi is expected to meet and hold bilateral talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
The theme of this year’s conference is; “Strengthened Partnership with Africa for Mutual Prosperity.”

Further, the Prime CS will be accompanied by Ambassador Angela Musilli of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8), in the conference.
The summit is expected to host more than 200 delegates from Africa.
The Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) is a regional cooperation format that includes Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden
Based on the details of the agenda, the Danish Policy has three pillars which are aimed at fostering collaboration with the African continent.
“The High-Level Dialogue will be seeking to address the new Danish policy anchored on the three pillars of trade and investment, climate action and peace & security, stated Ambassador Musili.
Additionally, she added that the conference is in line with the President’s agenda which aims to have African leaders relate with other nations on a partnership basis rather than a Donor-recipient relationship which has been the norm previously.
The sentiments on the paradigm shift towards a mutual partnership were also deliberated in the Italy summit held in January..
