Various receipts and documents from the company and incorporators linked to Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo were recovered at a resort in Pampanga.

According to Saleem Refran’s report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday,  law enforcers opened the 19 money vaults inside the villas at the Fontana Leisure Parks in Clark Freeport.

The villas were rented by the “big bosses” of the raided Zun Yuan Technology POGO facility in Bamban and by the business partners of the suspended mayor, the report said.

In the vaults were bank documents of Baofu Land Development, the firm allegedly linked to Guo and the owner of the land where the raided  POGO hub in Bamban is situated.

“Yung mga bank book na nakita  natin, magagamit ito sa ifa-file nating money laundering. And hindi lang ginamit yung bangko na ‘yun para sa transaction dito sa atin but  transaction din sa ibang bansa,” said Gilbert Cruz, Presidential  Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) executive director.

(The bank books that were found can be used in the filing of a case for money laundering. There were also transactions abroad.)

Also recovered were documents of Chinese fugitive Huang Zhiyang, who is also a business partner of Guo. Among these documents were two Taiwanese passports of Huang, a photocopy of his other passports from four countries, and a special retiree’s visa.

The PAOCC said Huang has been in and out of the Philippines since 2012.

Authorities are also now looking into the pandemic travel pass issued to Huang by former Bamban Mayor Antonio Feliciano.

GMA Integrated News has reached out to Guo and Feliciano for comments.

Also retrieved from the villas were documents of the other Baofu incorporators Zhang Rujin and Lin Baoying, who are involved in a money laundering case in Singapore.

The PAOCC added that the recovered triplicate vanity plates would also be checked with the Land Transportation Office.

“Definitely ang questionable dyan bakit tatlong plaka sa pare-parehas na number?  Pwedeng tatlong sasakyan ang paglalagyan nito. Yung mga luxury cars  syempre,” said Cruz.
