South Africans on social media were in stitches after watching a video of rapper Cassper Nyovest’s performance at the African National Congress (ANC) Mayihlome Rally at the Galeshewe Stadium in Kimberly as seen in a clip posted on Instagram on Sunday, 3 March.
NETIZENS ROAST CAPPER NYOVEST’S PERFORMANCE AT THE ANC RALLY
The ANC announced that its Secretary General of ANC, Comrade Fikile Mbalula would address its Provincial Mayihlome Rally in the Northern Cape on Saturday, 2 March. He was expected to elaborate on the party’s vision and commitments following their recent Manifesto Launch in eThekwini.
“When we look at the economic trajectory of our country, we will realise that food prices have gone up. We need to work on this and reduce prices while we actively fight against poverty in our homes. ANC policies will make this possible,” Mbalula wrote on his timelines.
Rapper Cassper Nyovest – real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo performed at the ANC event. He had social media users rolling on the floor with his performance of his song titled his song Tito Mbowen. Netizens were convinced Nyovest had only taken the gig to secure the bag. They have since hilarious comments claiming that the Mama I Made It hitmaker’s heart was just not into the performance.

“My broer was feeling guilty for performing at the ANC Rally,” @audiomarcdj commented.
