DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of its first hotel in Malta, located on St. Paul’s Bay.
Situated in the seaside resort of Qawra, DoubleTree by Hilton Malta features 485 guest rooms, while it offers access to Malta’s historical and cultural sites. The new property is located 35 minutes by car from Malta International Airport and is within walking distance of a bus terminal.

Concerning the amenities, the hotel provides a variety of dining options, including the Azure Restaurant and Terrace, the Carvv Grill and Enoteca, the Juniper Lounge Bar, the Limonata swim-up pool and the Ombré Café Bistro. Moreover, the hotel boasts a main pool area, which includes two seasonal outdoor pools and a sundeck. There is also a heated pool available year-round. The hotel’s leisure facilities will expand in 2025 with the opening of a private beach club, which will include two pools and direct beach access, while in June 2024 it will open the Myoka Spa.
Furthermore, DoubleTree by Hilton Malta offers over 2,000 square meters of meeting space, including a 971 square meter ballroom and 16 meeting rooms. The facilities can accommodate up to 800 guests and are equipped with audio-visual technology.
Additionally, DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is part of the Hilton Honors guest loyalty program and contributes to Hilton’s expanding portfolio of 684 hotels worldwide. Hilton also operates Hilton Malta in St. Julian’s, continuing to offer upscale accommodations and services on the island.
