‘Tight’ budgets have not been issue in search for new senior men’s manager

FAI CEO Jonathan Hill says the Association have yet to formally offer the Ireland job to any candidate and insisted “tight” budgets in Abbotstown have not complicated their search to find a chosen one.
Hill and FAI technical director Marc Canham faced questions on the manager hunt after the Nations League draw in Paris that set up a pair of tantalising showdowns with England later this year, a topical outcome given England U-21 boss Lee Carsley is believed to be their top target.
