An African-American was charged with assault after he attacked airport security at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
Tyrone Bennet is being held at the Airport Police Department (APD) detention cell for assaulting airport police officers and security personnel who tried to stop him from creating trouble at the terminal.
Airport Police chief Froilan Sanchez said the incident occurred on Thursday night (September 14) at the NAIA Terminal 3 when a taxi driver chased Bennet for not paying his fare.
Authorities said Bennet barged in at the terminal but was immediately stopped by security personnel where he was asked for a plane ticket and documents.
Bennet failed to show any travel document and started arguing with the security.
