Gayle has teamed up with the ICC T20 World Cup organisers in Florida and Lauderhill Commissioner Denise Grant to play the role of Cricket Ambassador for the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup, to be staged in June.
Grant is elated that Broward was selected as one of the host cities and is excited to be working with Gayle who is bringing star power to the promotion of the tournament.
As a Jamaican who was born in Manchester and migrated to the United States at age nine, she is also excited about having Gayle as Ambassador for the tournament.
