A Russian oligarch’s daughter has been let off by police after leaving a toddler seriously injured after she rammed her pushchair with an electric scooter.
Russian media did not name the teenage girl but did report that her father is a leading tycoon in Russian-occupied Crimea, named as businessman and former assistant prosecutor Boris Faingold, and her grandfather is millionaire Iosif Faingold. It’s alleged the teen reportedly smashed into the pushchair as she rode around Gagarinsky Park in Simferopol.
In grim images, a sobbing toddler’s face and t-shirt can be seen covered in blood. The injury the toddler suffered is said to be from a head wound as this is where the blood was flowing from. A video clip, which the Mirror has chosen not to show, shows the teen covering her face with her immaculately manicured hands as she tries to hide her identity. But police found her still riding in the park on the bloodstained scooter more than an hour later after the toddler’s parents complained.

The three-year-old victim reportedly needed stitches for the head wound and suffered a broken nose but escaped without a fractured skull. It is unclear if she will require plastic surgery. Local media reports say police lectured the 13-year-old on scooter safety but she will not face any charges or punishment.
In an even more horrifying incident in 2017, a Russian oligarch’s daughter killed five people while racing her friend high on drugs Shocking footage shows the moment several people were flung across the pavement after Alyona Zaitseva’s car smash into another vehicle and sent it careering into a crowd.
The 20-year-old millionaire’s daughter was detained for two months today ahead of her trial, despite an extraordinary appeal to allow her multi-millionaire father to compensate her victims and their families instead. A video released after the incident suggested Alyona could have been racing another car moments before colliding with a vehicle and ramming into helpless pedestrians waiting at a crossing.
Vasily Zaitsev, 61, issued an emotional appeal vowing cash help for the bereaved and injured from the accident. It was reported he was ready to spend £1.1 million in compensation, hoping that the gesture would reduce or negate any jail sentence for his adopted daughter, in Ukraine, this could happen if the hard-hit families drop claims against the girl from the wealthy family.
However, regardless of wealth and compensation which most of the victims families rejected, in 2019, both Alyona Zaitseva and Hennadiy Dronov, the person she was racing, were found guilty and each sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv, reports the Kyiv Post reported.
