It was to be a spectacular night. But as the lights dim, the stage at the Aviva Stadium remains in darkness.
Instead of The Best Day, it’s a Cruel Summer, as it is announced that pop doyenne Taylor Swift won’t be appearing after all. The Eras tour is cancelled and they have to head home and Shake it Off.
