Acting smartly is the prime rule of leading a life under any circumstance. Such a rule is also applicable to animals and other living beings. It is quite crucial for the animals in the wild to put every step with smartness. However, wild animals acting with over-smartness can be at a loss. Either they may become prey to any other animal or may also lose their prey.
Recently, a video of a leopard surfaced on social media that shows how over-smartness can cost huge for an animal in the wild.
As seen in the video, a leopard leaps on a wild boar and grabs it with its powerful jaws. While the leopard drags its prey to the middle of the road, another wild boar can be seen watching the prey hanging from the big cat’s mouth.
However, out of greed, the leopard starts running to grab the second wild boar. In the meantime, the wild boar hanging from its jaws slips and lands on the ground. Being overconfident, the leopard chased the second wild boar. But, the wild cat failed to catch its second prey as the boar escaped quite fast.
On the other hand, the first boar was alive and must have escaped, though not shown in the video.

The video shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Services (IFS) official Susanta Nanda has gone viral on social media.
He captioned his post: This leopard forgot the golden principle-a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush (sic)
As it seems from the comments, netizens enjoyed the incident a lot. Even the visitors watching the incident live also enjoyed the foolishness of the big cat.
