How Kenyans are Earning from European Business University

The European Business University (EBU) of Luxembourg has launched a drive seeking to bring on board people, including Kenyans, whom it identifies as ambassadors.

In the lucrative deal, the ambassadors will earn KSh 750 when they recommend each full scholarship to a student who subsequently joins the prestigious learning institution. The ambassadors then are required to take a course which is free of any cost.

TUKO.co.ke has learned that the institution based in Wiltz City will also offer scholarships to the aforementioned ambassadors.

The Summer Term will start in May 2024, and the application deadline is April 1, 2024. It is worth noting that EBU is headed by a Kenyan, James Mulli.

Some of the courses that are offered at the institution include Introduction to Python, Women and Leadership, Market Integrity and Prevention of Market Abuse, Customer/Investor Protection and Project Management.

Others include Introduction to AI, Public Finance and Taxation, Front Office Operations, Intermediate English among others.

EBU offering scholarships to needy students

Also, as earlier reported, students from humble backgrounds who have completed secondary school education have an opportunity to further their studies free of charge at EBU.

The institution offers scholarships to students in Asia, Latin America and Africa, primarily to Kenyan learners.

The university, which has over 22,000 students across the globe and 10,000 from Kenya, focuses on business courses, charging KSh 1.3 million for the whole programme but simultaneously offering scholarships to those who cannot afford the cost.

Conforming to its mission of sustaining a tradition of academic excellence and ensuring a world-class education, EBU offers multiple specialised online courses and campus-based lessons.

With most of its lessons being online, EBU requires less overhead costs, making it viable to give scholarships to needy students.

To attain its mission, the learning institution has a fully supported team of internationally recognised, enthusiastic and highly motivated faculty.

University of Eldoret partners with European Business University

As earlier reported, an a landmark public-private partnership in the education sector, the University of Eldoret (UOE) and EBU signed a deal to team up to offer online classes.

In the agreement, EBU’s management noted that just like its programs, UOE’s lectures are also offered majorly through online platforms, making the partnership beneficial to the two institutions.

In a statement seen by , the partnership would see the prestigious learning institution provide co-lecture opportunities with UOE.

Also in the deal, EBU will provide full support of course material and content to the Eldoret-based institution.
