The driver who was at the wheel of a bus that crashed and killed 10 wedding guests has been hit with an additional 52 charges. 

Ten people were killed and 25 were injured when the bus crashed at Greta, NSW, while taking guests from a wedding at Lovedale to Singleton on June 11. 

Bus driver Brett Andrew Button, 58, was charged with 10 counts of dangerous and negligent driving occasioning death and one additional charge of negligent driving occasioning death the following day. 

He was hit with an additional 52 charges on Thursday and now faces 63 in total. 

The fresh charges include dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and causing bodily harm by misconduct. 

Button was granted conditional bail ahead of a court appearance on August 9.
