Banners fly high as county welcomes winning hurlers back home
It was a sea of saffron and blue as tens of thousands of Clare fans welcomed home their hurling heroes and for the fifth time, the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
More than 40,000 fans from as far away as Feakle, Fanore and the four corners of Clare packed into Tim Smythe Park in Ennis to welcome home the new All-Ireland Senior Hurling champions.
