A Nigerian man who lives and works in The Netherlands has vowed to remain in the European country until his last days.
He was riding his bicycle alongside other commuters when he saw a fully automated bridge which was folded up because a boat wanted to pass underneath it, which was a riverside.
The man said he would never return to Nigeria because such a technological advancement can never be found in Africa’s most populous nation.
In a clip he shared on the internet, he mocked Nigeria by saying that the battery which powers the bridge may be stolen if such is ever built.
He said; “See wetin I see today, I just dey come out like this say make I pass with my bicycle. Na so I see say their bridge don go up, wetin make the bridge go up?
Boat wan pass so the bridge go up. Abegii I no dey come back again oh, I no dey come back again. I don japa.”
Watch the video:
@nosakhare_elvis; “You want make them thief the battery?” This part got me really laughing 🤣😂😅
@nwachi_official; This one is even small..for Friesland, water dey flow for up while cars are going under it.🙄
@Freedom47991286; If Nigeria wants to do this they will write 500 billion or more as budget?
@Kontrolzee; Won’t go out of Nigeria to insult Nigeria. Can never be me!!!
@jojorkingsley; We are still here arguing election results and religion.
@FirstKabba; Shey nah because of bridge you no Wan come back. Congratulations.
@VictorOnwuka; So what happens if a bike or car is on the bridge already when the boat is about to pass?
Meanwhile in other news…
A male Nigerian student nurse recently landed in trouble abroad for getting into a relationship with a female patient at a mental health hospital.
This is according to one Temitope Olowu who revealed that the affected nursing student was doing placement at the psychiatric hospital when he decided to have intimate affair with the lady.
It was gathered that they were sharing explicit photos with each other and when their act was discovered, the university reportedly revoked his admission and got him arrested on the allegation of taking advantage of the patient with a mental health challenge.
Temitope wrote; A Nigerian student nurse on placement in a mental health hospital decided to have a relationship with a patient… Exchanging explicit photos with her. University has terminated his course. Police is involved. Safeguarding enquiry is underway
Na jazz and ment. She said she’s in love with him. She’s a vulnerable adult. He took advantage of her. It’s a crime. Funny thing is he had been repeatedly warned about going into a patient’s room alone. Told it’s unacceptable but still carried on. I keep saying the average Nigerian is badly behaved. Unwilling to unlearn and relearn.
