Indian Hotels Company Signs New Vivanta Hotel in Talegaon, Pune

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) yesterday announced the signing of a new hotel in Talegaon, Pune. This Greenfield project will be branded a Vivanta.

Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “This signing will strengthen IHCL’s presence in Pune, a key commercial city in Maharashtra. Talegoan is a leading automobile and manufacturing hub in the state and it is poised for further growth with increasing infrastructure development in the area. This will be IHCL’s fifth hotel in Pune. We are delighted to partner with RMK Infrastructure Pvt Ltd.for this hotel.”

The 140-key hotel spread over 2.5 acres is located on Talegaon MIDC road, at a short driving distance from the leading multinational companies. The hotel will feature an all-day diner-Mynt, a speciality restaurant and Wink, the bar with over 4000 sq.ft. of banquet space. The recreation facilities will include a swimming pool, a gym and a spa.

Pune, a bustling metropolis of Maharashtra, blending modernity with tradition is a major manufacturing, IT and educational centre and the cultural capital of the state.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 33 hotels across SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands in Maharashtra including 11 under development.
