Defending champions Jamaica College moved to the top of Group “B” on 18 points after trouncing Tivoli Gardens 4-0 in their reverse fixture of the ISSA Manning Cup on Saturday at the Tivoli High School grounds. The resounding victory sent JC to 18 points.
Tivoli who were suffering consecutive losses, slipped to third.
Elsewhere, Kingston Technical joined Jamaica College on 18 points after dismantling Cumberland 7-1 at the Bell Chung Oval.
Quewayne Hudson who has now joined Leon Brown of STATHS as the leading scorer in the competition, bagged a hattrick.
Jonathan Grant secured their second round place following a 2-2 draw with Eltham High.
Meanwhile, on Friday, St George’s College maintained their perfect win record in this season’s competition after completing the double over Waterford following a 1-0 victory at Winchester Park.
Captain and national Under-17 representative Adrian Reid Jr settled the contest from as early as the second minute. The win took the Neville Bell-coached team to an eighth consecutive victory.
