Kalki 2898 AD continues to break records at the box office as the Nag Ashwin directorial has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally on its fourth day of release. The epic dystopian sci-fi action drama is headlined by Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in the leading roles.
The production house Vyjayanthi Movies took to its X (previously known as Twitter) account and made the announcement as it wrote, “500 CRORES #Kalki2898AD #EpicBlockbusterKalki.” As per the makers, the film had earned Rs 415 crore in its first three days and as per the trade experts, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to gross over Rs 100 crore at the global box office on Sunday.
Talking about its domestic box office, the Nag Ashwin directorial earned Rs 217 crore net (Rs 260 crore gross) in its first three days. As per the early estimates from the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk, on its fourth day, the sci-fi action drama collected Rs 85 crore net in India, taking its domestic net collection to Rs 302 crore.

Inspired by Indian mythology, Kalki 2898 AD is touted to be the most expensive film in Indian cinema with a whopping budget of Rs 600 crore. Apart from Prabhas, Amitabh, Deepika and Kamal, the much-awaited film also stars Brahmanandam, Shobana, Anna Ben, and Saswata Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
