King Charles has reportedly given permission for his brother, Prince Andrew to to stay “indefinitely” at his Royal Lodge home.
The Duke of York has thrashed out a deal with the monarch, the Mirror reports.
The disgraced royal is said to have met the King privately at Balmoral this summer, royal sources have reportedly confirmed.
And it seems like now Andrew has been given a “stay of execution” so he can find the funds to carry out the vital repairs on the royal mansion.
The four-bedroomed cottage is said to need an estimated £2 million in repairs.

The Duke is said to have given more than £200,000 for roof repairs in the summer.
King Charles and his brother were in dispute over the summer as the monarch planned to have Andrew move out from the property and move into the much smaller Frogmore Cottage.
But Andrew rejected the offer and refused to leave Royal Lodge, which he still shares with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, despite divorcing 27 years ago. He has now been offered a stay of execution.

However, a source close to the Duke said there had been a “cooling of relations” with the King.
Andrew was even seen being driven to and from church during the family stay in Scotland by Prince William which seemingly represents “a further thawing in the camp”.
Prince Andrew was forced to step down from royal duties after his friendship with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein emerged. He paid £12m to Virginia Guiffre, who accused him of alleged assault, which he vehemently denied.
