The Canadiens have recalled Joel Armia from the AHL’s Laval Rocket in advance of Saturday night’s tilt against Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals at the Bell Centre.
Game gets underway a little after 7 p.m. (SNE, CityTV, TVA Sports, TSN Radio 690, 98.5 FM).

Armia had four goals and one assist in five games with the Rocket so far this season.
Coach Martin St. Louis announced Justin Barron will get his first reps of the 2023-24 regular season with Kaiden Guhle day-to-day with an upper body injury.
St. Louis also announced Jake Allen will start in goal after Sam Montembeault started the previous two games.
