Contributing nearly a decade of experience to her present role, Ms. Robinson is an accomplished attorney and the founder of LAR Legal Group in Orlando, Florida. As a former prosecutor and currently a criminal defense attorney, she strives to provide clients with superior counsel, specializing in defending individuals accused of crimes ranging from theft and driving under the influence to white-collar crimes, drug charges, and homicide throughout the state of Florida. Ms. Robinson also practices civil litigation, specifically in the areas of personal injury and employment discrimination.
Ms. Robinson began her legal career as an assistant state attorney for the Orange County State Attorney’s Office in Orlando. During that time, she gained invaluable experience prosecuting criminal cases through trial between 2014 and 2018. Ms. Robinson subsequently focused her work on civil litigation with several private law firms, concentrating on civil litigation defense, including negligent security, contract negotiation, and general liability matters.
Seeking to work in an area of the field where she could make a difference, she draws a sense of satisfaction in advocating for those in need by helping them understand their rights and prevent them from being taken advantage of.
Lending her time and expertise to her local community, Ms. Robinson has volunteered for the Harbor House of Central Florida. She currently serves on the board of The Academy 365 Inc. and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Ms. Robinson is committed to several industry-related organizations to remain aware of developments in her field. In light of her hard work, Ms. Robinson has been recognized among the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Black Lawyers since 2021.
In preparation for her legal career, Ms. Robinson acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2011 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Barry University in 2014. Ms. Robinson has been admitted to practice law in Florida, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
