Its non-stop service between Dublin Airport and Boston Logan International will also begin on 13th March 2024, with its daily schedule also running to the end of September.
JetBlue plans to use Airbus A321neo aircraft on the routes, with 16 ‘Mint’ business class seats, and 144 ‘Core’ economy seats.
The company hopes to take advantage of strong demand for international travel, which has grown more quickly than domestic travel this year.
And it has already started selling flights scheduled for next spring and summer between the United States and Dublin.
The New York-based airline currently flies to London, Paris and Amsterdam, far fewer transatlantic destinations than offered by its bigger US rivals.
JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes said: “Dublin is an exciting new destination for JetBlue, building on a long history and tradition of friendship and connectivity between the United States and Ireland.
“The success of our transatlantic service proves customers don’t have to choose between low fares and great service and can experience both with JetBlue.
“We have long recognised the strategic importance of Ireland and its strong value proposition as an attractive country to visit and do business in.
“We realise value and choice is just as important in the Irish market as in the U.S. and are pleased to introduce our award-winning product to Irish customers.”
JetBlue also announced a new service between Edinburgh and New York, which will get underway in May of next year.
It also plans to begin a Boston to Paris service in April 2024.
