A man is his 50s has died following a workplace incident in County Roscommon.
A man (50s) has been killed on a workplace accident in Co Roscommon.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a fatal workplace accident at a premises in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, County Roscommon on Thursday evening, July 118, 2024 shortly after 7pm.
A male in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has been removed from the scene to the mortuary in Roscommon.
A post-mortem will take place in due course.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) have been notified and an investigation has been launched.
A spokesperson for HSA said, “The Health and Safety Authority is aware of the incident and has launched an investigation.
“As such no further information is available at this time.”
Gardaí added that a file will now be prepared for the Coroner’s Court.
