Polygamous man marries 1st wife as 2nd one watches

Meanwhile, a Catholic church in Kiambu allowed the marriage of a polygamous man’s first wife with his second wife in attendance.

Patrick Ndachu, who married Margaret in the 1970s and later to Diana, orchestrated the ceremony to acknowledge both wives publicly.

Despite the church’s usual stance against polygamy, the couple’s agreement and the church’s five-year clearance process paved the way for the event.

The condition was that the groom write a will to divide his wealth between his two families equitably.
