A Corporate Area man who admitted to threatening the complainant in a matter against him was sentenced to 40 hours community service on Thursday.
The sentence was handed down by presiding Judge Simone Walker-McFarlane in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court. The court heard that Trevor Facey threatened the complainant that he would kill him, days after Facey appeared in court for unlawful wounding. It is alleged that Facey punched the complainant in the face, causing a wound which bled.
“Me ago shoot yuh by Monday. Yuh carry me name guh courthouse, you and the judge can **** off,” the prosecutor outlined as Facey’s threat.
He pleaded guilty to one count of threat to a Crown witness.
