Apart from her role at Culture Shock Oakland, she teaches trauma-informed yoga through the Prison Yoga Project, aiding individuals in transforming their lives. Notably, she served as an Assistant Coach for Women’s Intercollegiate Athletics-Women’s Gymnastics at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2010.
Ms. Buack-Shelton earned her undergraduate degree in political science in 2005. Additionally, she holds credentials in law as a paralegal and in health and wellness, with E-RYT 200 and 500 certifications, and Yoga Sculpt certification.
Her achievements have not gone unnoticed, as she was recognized among the Most Influential Business Women and the Most Influential in the Asian Pacific Community by the San Diego Business Journal.
