A massive brawl marred Saturday’s Jamaica Women’s Premier League (JWPL) top of the table clash between Arnett Gardens and Cavalier at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
Cavalier prevailed 2-0 in the encounter where Arnett suffered their first defeat of the season. The brawl started between Cavalier’s goalkeeper Danielle Flake and Arnett’s Shanel Spence.
Kicks and punches reigned supreme in what turned out to be an ugly scene. Both players were ejected and the JFF’s Disciplinary Committee is now expected to investigate the matter in the coming days.
