McDonald’s has two—maybe three—delicious jalapeno menu items to feast on this summer.
We’re always on the lookout for new fast-food items. Whether it’s a crazy McDonald’s secret menu concoction or a menu item that’s making an epic comeback, it’s all delicious to us! The Grimace Shake already took the nation by storm (and we miss him already), but now it’s time for something a little spicier.
The McDonald’s Jalapeno Double has finally come back to us, and it’s not alone. It’s time to bring the heat!
Everything We Know About the McDonald’s Jalapeno Menu Items
We have two—maybe three—delicious jalapeno menu items to feast on this summer. Here’s what to look forward to.
Jalapeno Double
Originally introduced back in 2014 (almost 10 years ago), the McDonald’s Jalapeno Double has a cult following. The burger is a typical double cheeseburger with a few key differences. On this spicy delicacy, you can expect two 100% beef patties with a fair topping of crispy and freshly sliced jalapenos. There’s also a change in cheese—American has been switched out for a gooey helping of white cheddar. Finish it off with some classic ranch, and you’ve got yourself a tasty burg’.
Jalapeno Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese
This menu item is brand-new and we expect it to be as hot as it sounds. It contains two 100% fresh Quarter Pounder beef patties smothered in melted American cheese, three strips of thick cut applewood smoked bacon, pickled jalapenos and a slathering of cheddar cheese sauce all on a sesame seed bun. If two patties sounds like too much, you can also order this burger as a single.

Cheesy Jalapeno Egg McMuffin
This item may be the one I’m most excited for, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be available at all locations (yet). This McMuffin is rumored to be part of a “soft launch” at certain locations to test its popularity, and I’m hoping it makes the cut!
According to those who have had it, the spicy new Cheesy Jalapeno Egg McMuffin includes your classic Canadian bacon, egg and melted American cheese with added jalapeno slices between two soft English muffins. Customers may also choose to switch out the muffins for biscuits or the Canadian bacon for sausage. If this limited time sandwich would only make its way to me, I’d be very, very happy!
