Located at 6201 South Custer Road, right across from PJ’s Coffee and near TPC Craig Ranch and Liberty High School, the new Mo’ Bettahs will introduce McKinnians to its signature island-style barbecue menu, with items like the classic Hawaiian plate lunch.

The opening festivities begin on Thursday, Jan. 25 with a “Friends & ’Ohana” pre-opening event, at which complimentary lunch plates will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mo’ Bettahs founders Kimo and Kalani Mack will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by complimentary dinner plates served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mo’ Bettahs McKinney will celebrate its first day of business Friday, Jan. 26, opening the doors at 10:30 a.m. On Monday, Jan. 29, the restaurant will host “BOGO Monday” when guests can enjoy a “Buy One, Get One Regular Plate” all day long.

“It’s an honor to bring our authentic Hawaiian dining experience and aloha spirit to the McKinney community,” said co-founder Kimo Mack. “We’re excited to expand Mo’ Bettahs throughout Texas, growing our ‘ohana (family) and sharing our fresh-from-the-islands food!”

The McKinney location is the seventh Mo’ Bettahs restaurant in DFW, and drive-thru service is available. Its hours of operation are Monday – Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

At Mo’ Bettahs, guests can immerse themselves in the island culture with authentic Hawaiian-style food, using only the finest ingredients. Guests can enjoy Hawaiian staples like its traditional plate lunch, featuring their choice of Mo’ Bettahs delectable meats – grilled teriyaki chicken or steak, kalua pig, pulehu chicken, katsu chicken or shrimp tempura – paired with the brand’s one-of-a-kind macaroni salad and steamed rice.
