Shaktimaan actor Mukesh Khanna got the taste of his own medicine for his problematic comments on Odisha and Bihar audience. Commenting on Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, Mukesh Khanna allegedly made a derogatory comment and said that the audiences in Bihar and Odisha wouldn’t understand the film.
“The level of intellect with which the film has been made is fine for Hollywood. People are more intelligent than us over there. Forgive me, but audiences in Odisha and Bihar are not going to understand this kind of filmmaking,” Khanna said.
His bizarre statement drew huge criticism online on social media, with netizens brutally trolling him for his disrespectful remark. This isn’t the first time the Mahabharat actor has made such derogatory comments.
Earlier, during Prabhas’ Adipurush release, Khanna had stated that the entire Adipurush team should be burnt with standing at 50 degree Celsius. After being called out, Khanna denied called Odisha and Bihar people intellectually inferior and stated that he has paid his respects at Puri temple.

Taking to his X handle, Khanna wrote, “Ye ek bahut badi galatfahmi hai jo main door karna chahta hoon. Kalki film ke do minus points maine nikale the ki ek to usme Mahabharat ke tathyon se chedhchadh ki hai. Doosri uski first half boring aur confusing hai jisko ek aam film goer samajh nahi payega jo film ke hitt me naheen. Isme main Bihar aur Orissa me gaon me rahne walon ko udaharan bana kar pesh kar raha tha ki jo Hollywood style first half banaya hai kai logon ke sar ke oopar se jayega. Jo film ki kamzori hI.
