The teen disappeared on Saturday, July 8, after spending the day with some of his friends in Makutano near Sweetwaters, Nanyuki.
Telvin’s mother lives in Qatar
Njoki, who works in Qatar, told TUKO.co.ke that the Grade 8 pupil at Moses School lives with her mother while she hustles for the family in the Middle East.

The distressed mother explained that it all started when the young man didn’t come back home after school and chose to visit a friend.
“I’m told he parted ways with the last boy he was with on the road at around 7:20pm and went looking for means of transport back home,” she said.
According to her, the journey should have taken Telvis not more than 45 minutes, but he was never to reach home.

When he failed to show up as expected, friends and family members launched an intensive search that did not yield much.
Now they are left to grapple with unanswered questions, suspicions, and agony even as they remain optimistic that he will show up.
Njoki says the pain of not knowing whether the son is okay and will come back home gives her sleepless nights.
The family is requesting members of the public with information that could lead them to the youngster to report to the nearest police station or inform the mother through 074105415.
“On the day he disappeared, he was in a blue shirt, brown trousers with black and white stripes, and a black jacket,” the mother concluded.
