The governor of Nasarawa, Abdullahi Sule, has reassured the state’s citizens to maintain calm, peace, and adherence to the law in the wake of the tribunal’s decision to invalidate his election.
He emphasized that he remains their governor until the Supreme Court reaches a different decision.
Speaking to a large group of APC supporters at the Government House, Governor Sule referred to the verdict as a temporary setback and a wake-up call.

He explained that he is going to carry on his duties as the governor just the way he has been doing while his lawyers will appeal the judgment.
He called on his supporters to remain calm and go about their normal activities as he was not rattled by the judgment.
