After weeks of speculation, it’s been confirmed that South African MMA star Dricus du Plessis will battle New Zealander Israel Adesanya.
On Monday, Adesanya took to social media to reveal that he will attempt to regain his middleweight title from Du Plessis in Perth, Australia on 17 August.
“The SUN of Africa is the same sun that lights up our planet,” wrote the Nigeria-born Adesanya.
