Ex-Crime Intelligence officer Thandolwethu Faku was sentenced on Wednesday for murdering his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child in 2018 in her Khayelitsha home.
A former Crime Intelligence officer has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering his former girlfriend, Wendy Papu, after they broke up.
He killed her in her new home, leaving their baby and her small daughter to spend the night crying for her to wake up.
Thandolwethu Faku was sentenced by Western Cape High Court Judge Constance Nziweni on Wednesday.
