A man taking a stroll in Delta Park, Randburg, with his two dogs on Saturday evening was seriously injured, and one of his dogs was killed after they were shot by a suspect for no apparent reason.
The shooting happened at around 19:00 at the bottom part of the park, near the bird sanctuary adjacent to Bantam Drive, where the victim was walking his two dogs.
The chairperson of the Blairgowrie security team, Jon Tullet, told News24 that, according to an eyewitness report, several shots were fired.
