Gauteng police have opened a case of attempted murder after unknown assailants shot a person believed to be a taxi boss on the Winnie Mandela Drive off-ramp from the N1 in Bryanston.
Police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said assailants pounced on the man who was in a Golf R shortly after he joined the off-ramp at around 09:30 on Thursday,
According to Masondo, he is in a serious but stable condition.
