South African musician and Grammy winner Tyla Seethal was warmly welcomed at the O.R Tambo International Airport on Saturday.

The international arrivals terminal was abuzz with fans of the global pop star, her family, and the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa, who were gathered to see the musician who had been raising the South African flag. 

She had a brief moment with the media, including a photo-op with sports, arts and culture minister Zizi Kodwa before she was whisked away. When asked how she felt to be back home after bagging a Grammy award, she said she was happy to be home.
