Eastern Cape police are investigating after a 44-year-old disabled woman was allegedly raped and stabbed to death.

Eastern Cape police are investigating after a 44-year-old disabled woman was allegedly raped and stabbed to death.

Villagers from upper Tsojana in Tsomo, Eastern Cape, are reeling after the death of a 44-year-old disabled woman who was allegedly raped and stabbed multiple times in the head on Sunday.

Nosipho Maqungo, who was born with short leg syndrome, was found dead in her home in Mtyamde village. 

Nosipho’s uncle, Mboneleli Maqungo, said his niece was found naked by her older sister Phakama, 50, who had slept in another house on the same property when the incident happened.
