Johannesburg residents who have been dealing with water outages for four days will have to wait, days longer in some cases, for water to flow through their taps again.
The water is on its way; it just needs to fill up Rand Water’s reservoirs before it can pump through hundreds of kilometres of water pipes.
This after Rand Water’s Eikenhof pump station experienced a power outage on Sunday morning due to a lightning strike to a City Power transformer.
