How to Watch Ravens-Chiefs AFC Championship Game

Patrick Mahomes and the No. 3 seed Chiefs, with a shirtless Jason Kelce in attendance, survived a 27-24 Divisional Round classic on the road against the Buffalo Bills to advance to their sixth consecutive AFC Championship Game. And waiting for them is the top-seeded Ravens.

Baltimore, making its first conference title game appearance since the 2012 season, is fresh off of dominating the Houston Texans in the second half of a 34-10 win. Now its top-ranked defense gets a shot at shutting down Mahomes and company. And speaking of elite signal-callers, this is the closest Lamar Jackson, a soon-to-be two-time MVP, has ever come to a Super Bowl trip. All that stands in his way of claiming the Lamar Hunt Trophy awarded to the AFC champs is Mahomes, already a two-time MVP, and a Chiefs squad seeking its fourth Super Bowl Sunday in the last five seasons.

The No. 3 seed Lions are making just their second-ever conference championship game appearance after defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-23 over the weekend. A win would send Detroit to its first-ever Super Bowl and put the franchise in contention for its first championship since 1957. Yes, 1957. Can former No. 1 pick Jared Goff and the Lions keep their rare playoff success going against former “Mr. Irrelevant” Brock Purdy and the 49ers?

The winners of Sunday’s conference championship games will meet in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11. This year’s big game will be played inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and air on CBS. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
