Police were dispatched just before 9 a.m. and attended the scene along with fire, EMS and the coroner to find two injured adults. One person was confirmed dead, and the surviving person was transported to hospital.

“As in any death investigation, the immediate priorities are to identify the deceased individual and notify next of kin. This is ongoing,” said the release. “Police also investigate to gather as much information as possible to establish the circumstances of the death.”

As this incident may be considered a workplace fatality, police are also assisting Occupational Health and Safety. No other details are to be released at this time, police said.
