With Black Friday in full swing, beauty buffs are being inundated with perfume deals. Countless websites and brands have slashed the price of some of their most popular scents, with names like Tom Ford, Jo Malone and Dior all proving popular.
But with so many Black Friday deals to navigate, it can be difficult to work out which are really the best value for money. As someone who spends my days writing about the best fragrances on the market, and having created my own perfume in the scent capital of the world, Grasse, France, I know a thing or two about which are worth investing in.
I have collaborated some of my favourite scents that have been slashed in Black Friday sales at the moment. Included is Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid, which is now the cheapest price I’ve seen it, a Kayali Miniature set, which is ideal for those who want to explore different scents without spending a bomb, and a more budget-friendly option from Amazon, which is said to smell similar to a designer brand.

Here are my six deals everyone should look out for this Black Friday:

Sometimes we stumble across a brand and want to wear more than one of their perfumes but can’t decide which one to pick. In times like this something like the Kayali Miniature Set is perfect. Each year I set my eyes on one set of multiple 10ml perfume bottles and they always last at least a year.
It’s a great way to see how a perfume reacts with your personal body chemistry without breaking the bank and you can easily see if you still enjoy it after a number of months. I love that the petite bottles are so easy to take on the go whether it’s a night out, a holiday or a day in the office.
The Kayali Miniature Set is worth £100 but is currently retailing at £59.25 on Cult Beauty. It contains some of Kayali’s most popular scents: Eden, Invite Only, Vanilla and Déjà Vu. I actually got this set last year and went on to buy a 100ml bottle of Eden afterwards.

Sol de Janeiro is famous for its Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and the matching scent that blends together pistachio and caramel in a perfume mist that has heads turning. In the run up to Black Friday, Look Fantastic has dropped the price by 20% in both the 90ml and 240ml size.
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62 is a delectable blend of pistachio, almond, jasmine petals, sandalwood and salted caramel accords. It’s pulled in an average rating of 4.74 across over 800 reviews. One shopper wrote: “This smells absolutely beautiful! I get comments asking me what I’m wearing all the time! I must use this every day now.”
This is a scent that brings in repeated customers who swear by it and claim it’s great value for money. Personally this is the one perfume mist I get through the fastest as it’s a positively addictive scent, I would strongly recommend this for anyone looking for a budget friendly perfume that will turn heads.

Tom Ford is known for having luxury scents that shoppers swear by but also for having a price tag that matches the premium. Look Fantastic has dropped the price of a number of their fragrances for Black Friday and you can get the iconic Velvet Orchid for less than £100.
It opens up with notes of Rum, Honey, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot before mellowing out with heart notes of Black Orchid, Orchid, Jasmine, Heliotrope, Hyacinth, Rose Oil, Narcissus, Magnolia and Orange Blossom. It’s got comforting base notes of Vanilla, Myrrh, Suede, Sandalwood, Peru Balsam and Labdanum.
One shopper wrote: “Velvet Orchid is a somewhat underrated beauty in the Tom Ford fragrance line up. I get the fantasy orchid note as in Black Orchid, but this lacks the truffle umami aspect that is in its older cousin. What I’m left with are boozey florals, a vanilla base, loads of honey and some awesome woods. As I enjoy all of these notes, love the bottle and performance, this is a huge hit for me.”
The 50ml would normally cost £106 but has dropped down to £84.80 in the sale, or you can nab the 100ml bottle for £120 down from £150.

Maison Margiela’s Replica collection aims to evoke feelings of another time and place which makes the unique collection quite popular. Since fragrances all react to personal body chemistry this is a great way as you can try ten different scents in 2ml bottles.
The set contains Jazz Club, Lazy Sunday Morning, Under the Lemon Trees, By the Fireplace, Bubble Bath, Autumn Vibes, Sailing Day, When the Rain Stops, Beach Walk and Springtime in a Park. The set normally would cost £40 but has dropped down to £33.20 in the Look Fantastic sale.
One shopper wrote: “Such a fabulous way to try out all the scents before deciding on one to purchase in full size. The minis have about 30 sprays (so each one lasts me about a week using every day) – long lasting fragrance too.”
A second penned: “I brought these minis so that I could choose my wedding scent…I’m torn between Lazy Sunday Morning and Jazz Club but they are all beautiful.”

Fans of Dior fragrances may love the famous scents and the pretty bottles but with them often costing over £200 they can be quite pricey. Oud Isphahan by Dior opens up with notes of Labdanum with a heart of Rose, Patchouli and Saffron and base notes of Agarwood (Oud), Sandalwood and Cedar.
The 125ml can easily set you back £245 but on Amazon there’s an option with a very similar bottle that is just £10.95 for 100ml. Shoppers swear it’s just like the real thing with one saying: “The longevity of the scent and accuracy is just as the real one it’s a very good dupe, wish they did a bigger bottle will be buying a second one for sure.”
A second penned: “This perfume is amazing if you like OUD! It’s stayed on me for 9 hours too ! Also a very good dupe for the original one which is £245 ! Def recommend.”

Tom Ford’s Black Violet is a discontinued scent and perfume fans have been searching everywhere for something that smells similar. Bottles retail for hundreds of pounds online for fans to try to track down but there’s a £13.79 scent on Amazon that shoppers say is ‘exactly the same’.
Midnight Oud by Ard Al Zaafaran has notes of leather, oud, patchouli and sandalwood. One shopper wrote: “This is exactly the same as Tom ford black violet. You cannot tell the difference . It’s strong and lasting and for the price a fantastic buy. Will definitely buy again .”
A second penned: “This has to be the best blind buy I have ever made on Amazon. I do not know how to describe the scent, it transforms through so many notes and dries down to a warm amber after the third hour. I love wood scents and this is a very unique one. Very glad I decided to try it.”
