MANILA, Philippines: Philippine National Police Chief Benjamin Acorda Jr., asked the public for understanding over the signal jamming that they implemented in Manila during the Feast of the Black Nazarene.
Acorda said that he was aware of the importance of cellphone units and other gadgets for communication but that they needed to jam signals to ensure the safety and security of the devotees.
The signal jamming affected those within the vicinity of the traslacion route.
