Montreal police are seeking the public’s help to find a man accused of assaulting an STM employee and causing more than $5,000 in damages to his car.
Around 1:20 a.m. on July 3, the suspect came to the Joliette métro station in the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough. He’s alleged to have insulted the Société de transport de Montréal employee, thrown an object at him, and then chased the employee to his car. The employee took refuge in his vehicle to avoid his assailant. The suspect then started vandalizing the car, causing over $5,000 in damages.
