Former Senator for Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, is optimistic about the imminent commencement of operations at the Kaduna refinery.
His optimism follows reports of the Port Harcourt refinery already being operational, and he reiterated that the National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has upheld its commitment to meet the December deadline for the refinery to start functioning.
Posting on X, Sani wrote: “The commencement of operations of the Port Harcourt Refinery is commendable.
“The NNPCL has kept to its promise of meeting up the December deadline. Kudos to the GCEO, the management and the FG.
“We hope the Kaduna refinery that has been inactive for over a decade will come back to operation soon.”
