Prince Harry has been slammed over a recent awkward moment that has been branded “embarrassing for the UK” by a royal expert.
During their three-day visit to Nigeria last week, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle attended a reception at the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, where they were treated to a rendition of ‘God Save The King’.
The couple were seen standing from their seats but seemingly not singing the national anthem – a move that has left one royal expert furious.
GN News presenter Patrick Christys showed Princess Dian’a former butler Paul Burrell a clip showing a stony-faced Harry during the rendition of God Save The King before commenting: “He looked like he had to be revived there.”
Burrell replied: “Isn’t that embarrassing? It’s not only embarrassing for them, it’s embarrassing for the world, and certainly embarrassing for our country.

Prince Harry suffered a personal blow this week as his elder brother, Prince William, was appointed Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps by their father, King Charles.
This move is seen as a significant slight to Harry, considering that he served with the 662 Squadron, part of the corps, in an Apache helicopter in Afghanistan in 2012.
Reports suggest that this honour would likely have been bestowed upon the Duke had he not decided to step back from his duties as a working member of the Royal Family in 2020.

Meghan Markle ‘takes over’ with key sign Harry’s ‘fading to background’
Meghan Markle was brutally savaged by a royal commentator after she managed to “take over” and “push” Prince Harry “into the background” during their recent unofficial tour in Nigeria.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the West African nation last weekend to promote mental health for soldiers and empower young people.
But royal commentator Ingrid Seward claimed Meghan took the lead during the tour which she described as “Harry’s show”.
She told GB News: “Meghan manages to make everything about her. This was Harry’s show. This was for the Invictus Games. Nigeria is the first African country to join the Invictus Games.
“And it was Harry’s show. And yet, Meghan seems to take over. She has a big fan base there, but I just thought it was a shame. Harry always seems to be slightly pushed into the background unless he’s doing something sporty, like playing basketball or playing polo.”

Prince Harry and Meghan’s charity responds as Archewell no longer ‘delinquent’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity has released a statement as authorities in California said Archewell was no longer “deliquent” and was in fact of “good standing”.
The charity was declared “delinquent” after reports it had allowed its registration fees to lapse.
However, on Tuesday evening a spokesman for California’s Department of Justice confirmed the charity was no longer delinquent – adding: “After being in touch with our Registry of Charities and Fundraisers, the organisation is current and in good standing.”
In a statement released earlier today, the Archewell Foundation said: “We have diligently investigated the situation and can confirm that The Archewell Foundation remains fully compliant and in good standing.
“Due payments were made promptly and in accordance with the IRS’s processes and procedures. Furthermore, all necessary paperwork had been filed by the foundation without error or wrongdoing.”

Almost five years since a candid interview where Meghan Markle confessed “I’m not doing ok,” she has shared a heartening update about her life during a recent trip to Nigeria with husband Prince Harry.
