Located between the village of Plaka and the port of Elounda, the Rosewood Blue Palace will open its doors in 2025.
The complex will offer 154 rooms and suites, including 85 with private pools. The interiors, designed by the Greek firm K-Studio, will be inspired by Cretan tradition and identity. To enhance the dining experience, Rosewood has commissioned Greek-born, London-based interior designer Afroditi Krassa to create the spaces for the hotel’s six restaurants and bars.
Dining options will include several specialty restaurants and a beach club, while the resort’s bar will offer panoramic views of the island of Spinalonga. An all-day dining restaurant will focus on local produce, including ingredients from the resort’s organic garden. Guests can enjoy holistic wellness experiences at Asaya, Rosewood’s wellness concept, complete with a fitness centre, movement studio, yoga pavilion and hydrotherapy facilities. The resort’s three outdoor pools will include areas reserved for adults and children.
