The Royal Family have been urged to “go after” Omid Scobie and “destroy him”, following his royal book saga.

The scathing criticisms came from prominent broadcaster and journalist Carole Malone, who questioned the authenticity and validity of Scobie’s recently released Endgame book, calling on the Royal Family to come out and debunk the author’s numerous claims.

“I think they should come out and denounce this book”, she said on GB News. “If they don’t, it looks like they’re not disagreeing with what’s in it”.

Malone continued: “They should go after him legally and destroy him. “A lot of this is tosh, it’s just nonsense.”

“I would love to know who his so-called royal sources are”.

Scobie references multiple Palace sources in his latest book, with Malone questioning who would provide him with information from the Royal Household outside the Sussexes sphere.

“No one in the Royal Family is going to talk to him,” she said, “and if he says he’s seen the letter that Meghan wrote to Charles, saying about this so-called racist conversation, how has he seen that? Did one of the Windsors show it to him?”

Malone attacked Scobie with a scathing indictment, labelling him a “horrible little, lick-spittle peacock of a man, who wonders why he’s not taken seriously – because he’s a mouthpiece for two people who hate the Royal Family.”

Malone also questions how the names of the royals embroiled in the apparent ‘race row’ could have made it into the Dutch translation of the book, if the author did not reveal them in the manuscript: “Is he suggesting the publishers put it in there? Is he suggesting that a translator put it in there?”

She added: “I’m pretty sure he wanted them out and I’m pretty sure Meghan and Harry wanted them out as well.”

Omid Scobie appeared on ITV’s This Morning and denied having named the royals caught up in the apparent ‘race row’.

Scobie insisted: “I have never submitted a book that had their names in it.”

Just as quickly as he denied submitting the names of the royals in his book, the Dutch translator of the publication hit back at the author’s claims that he had nothing to do with the names appearing in the Netherlands.

Saskia Peeters, the woman who translated the book from English to Dutch, said the names were already there. She said: “As a translator, I translate what is in front of me.

“The names of the royals were there in black and white. I did not add them. I just did what I was paid to do and that was translate the book from English into Dutch”, she told MailOnline.

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace are said to be “considering all options” following the naming of the royals allegedly at the centre of the ‘race row’ in the Dutch publication of Scobie’s Endgame’, who were accused of “unconscious racial bias”.
