City police are investigating after a vehicle struck St. Paul’s co-Cathedral in downtown Saskatoon on Sunday morning. The driver did not stick around.
Police said they were called to the 700 block of Spadina Crescent East around 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 12.

Arriving officers found an unoccupied vehicle partially inside the building.
The collision caused extensive damage to a wall, but no one was found to be inside the building when the incident happened, police said.

Upon arrival, it didn’t appear the vehicle had been reported stolen, but police said followup on this will be part of the ongoing investigation.
No arrests have been made.
The fire department responded, but found no patient, no structural concerns and no fluid leaking.
The damaged portion of the building, on the side facing the intersection of 22nd Street East and Fifth Avenue North, was covered by a sheet of wood on Tuesday. The building is more than a century old.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon declined to comment.
Police are asking anyone with information or video evidence of the incident to call 306-975-8300.
