Leveraging more than three decades of excellence in writing, non-profit management and life coaching, Ms. Williams has earned distinction as the chief executive officer and co-founder of the Y.E.S. Project and Yes Purpose LLC alongside her daughter. The non-profit organization aims to empower young people, mentoring and tutoring students in all academic subjects from pre-kindergarten to second-year college. Having served as the organization’s director and facilitator as well since 1999, she has focused her efforts on serving as a legacy life coach for women, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Additionally, she is a valued member of the Global Women Speakers Organization as well as the Kingdom Builders Academy.
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Williams is a two-time bestselling author for the Anthology, The Chain Breaking Experience Vol. 3 and 4 along with several other authors and co-authored “7 Keys to Find Balance and Thrive in Motherhood” with her daughter, Andria Washington. She was also named one of the Top 33 Most Inspirational Women in 2022 by the Hoinser Media Group and was honored with a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023. Accounting for her success, she credits the legacy of her maternal great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother, all of whom were strong influences on her life.
Outside of her primary career endeavors, Ms. Williams has been a certified life coach since 2021, and a licensed- ordained minister since 2003. To prepare for her professional journey, she completed coursework in nursing at Texas Woman’s University and earned a Bachelor of Arts biblical studies from the Cornerstone Theological Seminary.
Looking to the future, Ms. Williams intends to create a facility where young people can utilize their talents and abilities to receive training and become independent through the Y.E.S. Project. She also aims to create a global platform that can impact women’s lives worldwide for Yes Purpose LLC, enabling her to reach more women and help them realize their potential.
